Cuban Links

Hello Loves,
Happy Thursday to you! So if you follow me on IG you know i recently took a trip to Cuba. And if you don't follow me on IG now is your time too click here and tap that follow but right quick :).  That place is so beautiful if you have a chance pleas make sure you go before they ban us from going there again! I took this trip because a blogger on IG name s @Vicstyles had went in June and stated she was going back in October and if any one wanted to go so i quickly dm'd her and stated i was interested. Yeah not know her or traveling with her was a chance and risk i was willing to take just so I could visit Cuba. I had met Vic once at a shoot and that was it but I have been following her form some years now and loved her vibe so i said what they heck. So once she sent an email I had forward to my friends and a few of them were down as well because it was first come first serve. The total trip cost for round trip ticket and room was $550 in which I thought was a steal.   We stayed at Hostel Hanoi Havana which was so great and nice.  It's a cute couple that owns it and we were the first to stay there since they just opened up and i totally felt secure and the rooms were clean and they were so welcoming. I definitely suggest checking them out if you go.   Anyways Vic was very informative of everything down to what things we should bring like snacks, toilet paper, wipes etc.. Remember Cuba is a communist country and US doesn't supply them with anything so the snacks we have here in the US they don't so if you go just make sure to bring snacks that you like.   Also money they don't use USA check cards there so you can't think you will be swiping your life away there you will need to bring enough cash which you have to change over to CUC because they don't except American dollars.   I bought $400 for 5 days which was a enough, it is very cheap to eat there but cabs don't cost much if your in a group but if your by your self it would be costly but again small money adds up quickly. Also you will be cut off from what is going on in the world. I mean if you want to keep your phone on roaming you can but I wouldn't suggest that.  My phone was on airplane mode the entire trip, you can buy phone cards which you can use for Internet and phone for 1 hour which cost $3 dollars and then you will have to find a wifi spot. (unless your staying somewhere that has it already most air bib's don't because wifi is expensive there) Once you find a wifi spot you then can put in the information on the phone card in your phone to connect to wifi but remember you only have one hour so use it wisely lol. But to disconnect from the world felt great I enjoyed the people which was my good friend Taisha, her cousin Tunisia and we met LaBrandon, Vic and Jon on this trip and I must say it was just the best group ever. We laugh, we chilled we went with the flow it was just amazing. You know when it comes to travel the people you are with can make or break the trip and this group just made the trip even better, I just thank god for Vic for putting such a great trip together and for god just making Us all be there together to enjoy it with one another.  Being disconnected makes you enjoy who your on the trip with even more so if you plan on going to Cuba make sure your travel buddy is great and can deal with being disconnected.   The people in Cuba are so nice and beautiful it was just amazing.  The only thing that wasn't great is the food it is very bland so make sure to bring seasoning or hot sauce to just have some flavor in your food.   So these next few post will be pics form the trip because when in Cuba you gotta have a  photo shoot it is too vibrant not too.  If you have any further questions on Cuba shoot me an email.   Hope you enjoy my pictures of this beautiful place!
Here are pics from our first day going to the market, drinking coconut water with rum to walking the streets and taking pics with the locals.
Until next time,
 xoxo
